I was asked to create an identity for an exhibition dedicated to the work of Shigeo Fukuda. Shigeo Fukuda is renowned for creating illusions in his designs and using them to make social commentaries.
With Fukuda being synonymous with graphic illusions I felt it was appropriate to create an illusion that commented on Fukuda’s work as the identity for the exhibition. The illusion I created surmises the themes of the exhibition, war and the environment. Inspired by Fukuda’s signature style I gave my illusion a double meaning promoting the exhibition and creating a social commentary through the design.
